Graduate of the Design and craft council two year Goldsmithing and Jewellery skills course in 2019.

From October 2011 to June 2015 Deirdre studied jewellery design and metalwork in the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. Time at NCAD encouraged Deirdre to develop her drawing, design and CAD rhino skills, as well as nurturing her creativity as a maker. She went on to win a Future Maker Award for her degree show collection in June 2015. During her time at NCAD Deirdre was presented with the opportunity to study on the Erasmus programme at MOME University of Art and Design in Budapest, Hungary.

Deirdre also was a team leader as part of the Young Ambassador programme at Homo Faber in Venice during September 2018 run by the Michelangelo foundation.

Deirdre is currently progressing her training and bench skills within the industry with a focus on CAD and new technologies.
